In the latest news from the actions have consequences department, Brian Williams recently told David Letterman that the McCain camp is punishing him by not allowing him to interview Sarah Palin because the McCain camp is mad at MSNBC's extreme leftism as evinced by Chris "Thrill up my leg" Matthews and Keith Olbermann. Is Brian crying? There's no crying in broadcasting!
During his visit on The Late Show with David Letterman, Brian Williams admitted that he is the only network anchor that has yet to be granted an interview with Governor Palin but that he "cannot wait" to interview her.
As to why he has yet to be granted that interview, Williams thinks it's because the McCain camp is "unhappy" with the far left editorial leanings of NBC's cable outlet MSNBC.
“I’ve put a general invite out to the campaign,” Williams told Letterman. “I’ve asked them about it. We think it’s because they’re unhappy with our cable programming. But I’m here. I’m waiting.”
The list of transgressions are too many to number, but it should suffice to say that Olbermann joking about a National Review editor masturbating during the Palin debate or Chris Matthews wondering how the 'genius' Democratic governor of Michigan, Jennifer Granholm, could have possibly been a convincing stand-in for Gov. Palin during Sen. Joe Biden's debate prep sessions are reasonable grounds for displeasure, to say the least, among McCain/Palin staffers.
NewsBusters senior editor Rich Noyes awarded the MRC "Worst of the Week" award last Tuesday to MSNBC for its biased coverage of the September 26 debate:
MSNBC may have dropped Chris Matthews as "news anchor" of major political news events, but he was a major presence during coverage of Friday's debate between John McCain and Barack Obama. Immediately following the debate and in a special Hardball that aired at midnight EDT, Matthews insulted John McCain as "troll-like" and insisted the Republican nominee showed "contempt" for Obama by looking at moderator Jim Lehrer instead.
But Obama was sensational, correspondent Andrea Mitchell gushed: "He seemed to be a lot more genial than you might have expected. But, boy, he did show a command of foreign policy in terms of the nuts and bolts of it."

Also, McCain & Palin should shun NBC and affliates, first not to make them look like a ligitimate news service, and second, because why should McCain or Palin help NBC's ratings when all NBC is doing is "sleeping with the enemy". And yes, I am referring to Barrack Obama as an "enemy" of the USA.
And by that I mean, Obama is a hard-core communist and a terrorist lover. I also believe he is hell-bent on destroying this country, and by that I mean, if elected president, he will do all in his power to dismantle the military, dismantle the FBI, CIA, NSA, DIA and other security agencies, tax businesses out of business, tax families into poverty, and basically destroy the American dream.
Obama will also fight to oppress free speech, free religion and free press, that is, any he does not happen to like. He will also work to corrupt the election system, even more than he is now doing. This is the kind of elitist, arrogant, bully that he is.
Obama is "a clear and present danger."

That said, work with them- WITH CONDITIONS...you record everything on the side, EVERYTHING. So when America hears 2 soundbites from a 4 hour interview session, you can cover your @$$. Also, when you go to places like MSNBC, do what McCain did when he called out Mika about supporting Obama.
I don't like the boycott road because I felt the Dems were pussies for backing out of debates that they were supposed to do with FoxNews. Led by the Breck Girl himself, John Edwards, & pressed from the kook lefty blogs like Kos, DU, Huffington, & the rest canceled those debates. The right likes free speech & debate, the left does not.

First, the treatment from Obama's onboard staff people, Matthews and Olbermann, secondly the treatment of Saturday Night Live of Sarah Palin. Now, I say that not wanting anything to stop. If the bits being done by SNL were just there and that was the end of it, they're funny and Tina Fey is right on with her impersonation. Now, to take those bits and replay them over and over and over again, to the point where people actually believe Sarah Palin might be saying things like this, just isn't right. It's being done with a purpose, there's little doubt in my mind.
McCain deserves to be elected on this issue and the fact he threw Maureen Dowd off his campaign plane. Hell, that's got to be worth a million votes just from people who wanted to be there to throw Maureen Dowd off the plane and the people that would like to tell NBC to stuff it because of Matthews and Olbermann.
Finally, Williams is only annoyed because he probably has a couple of gotcha questions to slip in and won't be able to.

It is important to remember that the MSM is frantically trying to get "votes" as much as the campains are. Every time you change a channel, buy or don't buy a newspaper/magazine you are voting. Recall the frantic response from US magazine when they showed such disrespect for Sarah Palin. Free market capitalism is millions of consumers voting millions of times daily and the competition for those votes is the lifeblood of the MSM.

If that means almost everybody at MSNBC gets sacked, so be it. You know the truth, you know who the people are causing the problems at NBC/MSNBC, go to Zucker & Capus & spell it out. Olbermann, Mathews, Shuster, are all problematic to NBCnews. Maddow could very well be in the future, but not just yet.

Maybe if NBC continues to get stiffed they might wonder if the Chris M/Keith O twins are really that good for business.
I honestly don't understand why McCain goes on shows like Letterman/The View etc. While I realize that the campaign may think there is a potential audience it seems like the majority of those viewers are already too deep in believing the Democratic doo doo. It seems like a waste of time to pander to closed minds.
